Quality work

Just goes to show you that you can do something good with 8 bit sprites if you know what you're doing. I thought a couple of the Mario sprites were a bit off (the ducking and kicking one perhaps) but the fight itself was well-choreographed and the custom poses were well-made. Didn't care much for the outtakes at the end but I guess that's just my sense of humour. Great job.

Very good

Now why couldn't the Foamy hurricane thing have been done like this? Oh well. Anyway, the graphics on the clocks were nicely done (good that you drew them yourself instead of just using the CC premade fla files), the dialogue actually made me laugh in parts and overall it was an entertaining flash.

Good work, may B watch over you.

JonBro responds:

May B watch over me? No, I'm almost scared of B, it's too powerful of a movie.

Still good

Something about New Empire keeps my interest that other "serious" FFVI flashes seem to not do. I like that you animated the riverside in this one. The scene with the plan was done pretty well too. The river jumped a bit though. If you switch on onion-skin and zoom in then you can line it up better (takes time but it makes it look good).

Looking forward to the Sephiroth vs Frog match in the next one, that could be good, seeing as I've seen your efforts in the past. And you got an 8 for style because Kefka didn't appear. =P

Tootbook responds:

Luke believe me...your gonna like what i do with Kefka...hehehehe....;).

Good as ever

The effects and spriting in general improve with each episode (I think I've said that in every review I've done though) and the music selection was good as always. Sad to see the last of the Suikoden characters evicted but oh well, good to see Ryu back in action.

I like the custom Pesmerga sprite too. I can sense some foreshadowing going on in this one, what with Crono nearly attacking Terra and her getting pissed, will there be a fight between them in the future I wonder?

Finally, the vote this episode goes to Angela.

Hell-Fire responds:

Angela

Hey, Glad to hear from you again. You will have to wait and see. Thanks for the review mate. Cya

Nice, but...

One other thing that annoys me with UJ flash is people who DON'T COMPRESS THEIR AUDIO! Animation-wise it was pretty good though, and props for taking a jab at 8-bit Theater spoofs (should've gone all out and wiped out the FFVI cast too for a laugh; those flash are worse than the 8 Bit spoofs).

Would've been a 9 if you'd compressed your audio a bit. Voted a 4 anyway.

MACception responds:

I would have compressed the audio...but i felt that the audio was the most important thing...sound quality is above all for me!

Well like I said last time...

This looks like it could be good. Glad the lag's sorted out in this one too. Will it be completely set on Starbug like series 6 or will there be episodes on the Dwarf itself? Well, as long as it sticks to the vein of the older series this will be a hit.

UncleStevie responds:

Yes, it will be all on StarBug, with the gang on their search for the Red Dwarf.

Great work

Heh, makes my fight scenes look slow as hell. Anyway, the action was excellent in this, really fast-paced. Some of the voices had a bit of background noise (Zero's was most noticeable) and a couple of the sprites looked a bit blurry, but other than that it was excellent. I can see why it took a year to do.

LgdVegetto responds:

Don't forget the 2nd part will be submitted next week :).

Hooray!

I am the saviour! Guess I should have expected that, considering the clocks are going all out with flash today.

Short but sweet flash. Happy clock day.

Good stuff

I thought that was pretty funny. You animated the MK sprites really well too (the fight with Cage vs Noob Saibot was excellent). I'd try and add some more music for the next episode though. Keep up the good work.

YES! Mystical Ninja ROCKS!

Well, I guess you've heard all this before from other reviewers. Sprites were animated very nicely, the music choice was good (although a few sound effects were a bit out of place but I know how hard it is to find those) and you really managed to capture the over-the-top silliness of the Mystical Ninja games as a whole. I'd add about a second or two to some of the textboxes though; I'm a fast reader but some of them were a bit fast. Xan's mini-game was a nice addition to this too.

Great work overall.

A thing with stuff.
