Probably should have been two parts.

Art and animation are still high quality as ever, and the voices are also a lot clearer this time to the point I didn't recognise Navi at first.

I know you say in the author comments that your fla kept crashing, and that's fair enough, but you had a good setup to make two parts out of this, and it would honestly have been justified given that it's the Water Temple. What with Link's hookshot breaking at the start of the movie you could have stuck a scene in somewhere with a wall saying "To enter this part, use hookshot" or something like that. Hell, Navi seems to set up that joke with her saying that there'll be another useful item past Dark Link. Could have had him get the new hookshot, climb the wall and see the chaotic mess of the rest of the Water Temple. Shocked expression, "to be continued".

I guess I'm gonna be echoing a few people, but the House cutaway was a bit unneeded too. I'd have had him list off shows he liked with Link and Navi just backing away slowly while he's still talking.

Maybe I'm just overanalysing. I'll still be watching and waiting for the next part anyway.

About as funny as the last two.

Not that that's a compliment. Honestly, I don't know why I'm bothering to review as I know it won't get read, it'll seem like I'm just jumping on the bandwagon and I didn't like the first two anyway. But I feel like voicing my thoughts.

Like a lot of people have already said, the best part was the first part with Kirbopher's "FUCK THIS" rant. If this had been submitted on April 1st with just that part then this would have been a whole lot funnier.

Guess I'll break down stuff I didn't find funny and why. The first thing that sticks in my mind are the scenes where a line from the game's quoted. Just a quote, no follow-up. Maybe I'm missing something but what's the point? Next is the misheard stuff, like "Big Gay" in place of PK, or going back to the first Brawl Taunts, "Show me ya boobs" in place of "Show me ya moves". Honestly, it's played out at this point, and makes it seem like you just went on GameFAQs and clicked a topic on stuff Brawl characters would never say. I mean, I was making jokes like that with my friends back when the N64 Smash Bros was still new. The main one that sticks out to me is the use of internet memes. It's borrowed humour and lazy writing.

Rina, stick to voice acting, or at the very least work on some original humour. Even if your next work is still a video game parody it'd likely be a lot better if it was all your own writing and not memes for the sake of memes.

Giving this a three for the stuff I did like, namely Kirbopher's bit at the beginning, the Falcon lunch raising a smile and certain parts being decently drawn.

So how'd I miss it this time?

I really need to pay more attention to the portal. Anyway, I like the new looks for the menus, they look more aesthetically pleasing than the previous ones. Action scenes were good as always, especially with all the camera effects and what have you, and including gaming's most badass 12 year old pink-haired girl can only be a good thing.

*dies over the cliffhanger* That was an evil one. Evil i say! But that can be a good thing. Always good to see new episodes of this series.

Yeah

You went through some of it a bit quickly, but I'm guessing this is more for people who already have some drawing ability. Anyway, it's a nice enough tutorial, I'm looking to draw some Toriyama-style art for a menu in one of my future flashes so this'll help with getting the style down right. My main gripes were the lack of a replay button and not being able to skip to a certain character straight away. Also would've helped if you'd shown how to do Piccolo's cape.

Anyway, nicely put together and keep up the good work with the Brolly series.

Liking it

The imps got bloody hard though. I'm one of the people who didn't get far either, but from what I've played it seems good. My problems were mainly with small things really. Enemy Encounter Rate was somewhat high for example, plus it was difficult to determine how much health the enemies had and how much damage I was doing.

I'd have liked a save feature or password feature too, considering it gets a bit tedious having to start over when you get a critical hit that kills you and have trained pretty hard, but never mind. Adds to the challenge I suppose.

Music was well-chosen (Chrono Cross for the most I'm guessing, still need to listen to most of the soundtrack to that one) and movement of Magus was nice (dash would have been nice, or can you get one later on?). I like it overall. Your CT movies are definitely some of the best on NG for action, and this game's a pretty well-coded RPG.

PS: A small thing, but if 11 years had passed since 12000 BC then it'd be 11989 BC, seeing as BC years count down to 0.

Good track

It's definitely reminiscent of something but I can't place my finger on it. Probably in my head. Definitely has a relaxing "first level" feel to it. I think I've found something to use in my flash game demos (I'll of course give credit).
