Damn you Hadji!

I wanna see the final battle! Anyway, that choose the character thing was a cool idea (that was in Suikoden III too I think. I've only got the manga seeing as the game was never released here) and the backstory for Sephiroth was a cool idea, and the war thing was nicely done. How'd he survive 240 years though? Minor complaint is that Kefka's sprite could have been recoloured to represent an original character, but hell, he didn't appear for that long anyway.

The Crono and Dante fighting the monsters parts were well done, and again the music was put to good use (glad you aren't just relying on FF/CT music, the Skies of Arcadia music is a nice touch).

You go into my fave authors, and this submission goes in my faves too. I eagerly await part 5. Hope it comes out soon.

Getting better

The quality rose in this one by a fair amount. The fight scene between Crono and Dante was pretty good (where'd you get the Skies of Arcadia music? I must have it!) and the thing with the Chocobos raised a smile, so 2 points in humour.

Backgrounds... still a bit blurry, but some don't look too bad now (try saving them as png instead of jpeg if you can). Now onto the next episode.

Now here's something I didn't think I'd see...

... at least not on NG anyway. I remember this from back when you first made it, heh heh. NG messed it up a bit though. :(

I shall now do the tedious thing of going through each category (I haven't done that on my others). Graphics were fine, the preloader and logo were cool, plus it's kinda funny seeing that old sprite of me again. Sound really got messed up the most on here, which is a shame, considering it was in sync pretty well when I saw it first. Style... perfect 10 because it has me, haha! Interactivity, well there is supposed to be some outtakes for anyone else who sees this. The scene doesn't play though. Humour. I laughed at it when I first saw it, I laugh now. Probably because it's me blowing stuff up across the screen.

You should add some music and try and get the sounds to sync and stuff in the next one (if you ever get round to it :P) because you could go pretty far in flash. Be warned though, I'll catch up to you sooner or later, haha!

The glorious return?

Oh yes. The original clockshave returned. They will lead all clocks into glory once more. I voted 5 of course.

LOVED IT!

Or should that be "<3'd it!" perhaps? I enjoyed the original, but this one was even better with the extra scenes and stuff. RIP to LC (just thought I'd mention that, seeing as it tributes him in a way). There's fast-paced fighting, great graphics, a cool rock tune playing throughout the fighting, some humour involved (the extras, heh heh) and of course the usual pwnage involved in Piconjo's movies.

Great work to the people involved. Remember fair toadies; Piconjo <3's you, pwns you and is > you

Hmm

Not bad. With the first scene, the click to advance buttons were a good idea, as they cut the frame rate down, but it was irritating moving the mouse about to get to the different boxes. I'd suggest putting a play button at the bottom of the screen where that Menu button is.

Onto the movie itself. As usual, the story advances pretty well, and the fight scene at the end was a nice addition after all the talking and walking of the previous three or so episodes. Music was well-chosen, and sound effects were put to good use. I'm sort of half-and-half about the music used in the final scene with the fight though. Not sure whether it fit or not. With Zero vs the guy with the ice powers (I forgot his name) it worked, and I guess it gives the feeling of betrayal as Crey summons his friend to kill Harpuia.

To future reviewers; understand that this is quite an involved plotline, so it may be hard to pick up on to begin with.

Anyway, good work, and I hope to see some more action in the next episode.

KNanakase responds:

Actually, I was kind of indecisive about the music in the fight scene as well. I was originally going to use "Forze del male" from Kingdom Hearts, but I felt it wasn't fast paced enough. So I used "Disappeared" again. Oh, and the guy with ice powers is Mikagami. I wonder if I should re-submit the episode with that music in place of "Disappeared" to see how it works. Anyways, glad you liked the movie.

That was very well done

Reminds me of one of those silent cartoons with music representing a character's feelings or something (I don't get what I'm trying to say here)

Cartoony graphics, good humour, and fairly pleasant music. I enjoyed it.

I know what you mean. I love those classic cartoons.
Thanks!

I'm impressed

The whole "someone vs someone" idea's been done a lot, but this was defnitely one of the better ones out there. I'd imagine this is how Frog's story would go if he hadn't met with Crono and his friends.

Only problem I had was the fact that there was some cool fighting, then some pretty quick deaths afterwards.

Very nicely animated though.

Nice work everyone

The introduction of a sprite time trial makes me wish my flash skills were better lol.

Anyway, I'll break it down:

Gamma00: Pretty funny, but the text was way too small (I watched the separate submission). The ending raised a smile, but I felt it missed something. 7/10

BlackDevilX: Excellent work. Really fast-paced fighting scene on that one. Although clicking the text when they talked stopped the music, which I found a bit irritating. 9/10

SuperYoshi89: Hmm... not so good to be honest compared to the others. The sprites were too small, plus it seemed to have more talking than action. The fighting wasn't bad though. 6/10

Square Hard: The Link edit was a nice touch, and the fight scenes weren't too bad. Not as fast-paced though. The action was there anyway. 7/10

Good work to everyone, and I'll keep an eye out for more of these.

BlackDevilX responds:

Thank you for you review!

Hahaha, good stuff

The Patrick Stewart mock was enough to raise a smile, but then when he crashed into the car and Bub started hurling abuse at him I was laughing. Or I would have been if I didn't have laryngitis right now...

Good stuff anyway.

A thing with stuff.
