Isn't that the truth...

It really annoys the hell out of me when people do this. Even at 14 years of age people should have learned this, yet I've come across people older than that who still use them the wrong way. For the flash itself, sound was muffled, but yeah, you knew that already anyway. So good work overall.

majikphat responds:

Thanks.

Well smegaroony, if it isn't Eddie

I doubt you remember me, it's been so long. Amusing flash. As a Birmingham man myself I fully approve of a Brummy Grim Reaper.

Eddache responds:

Hiya ShadowWarriorLuke! Yep, I remember you!
I'm glad you liked my brummie voiceover for Straight-Guy.
The fact that you could tell it was a brummie accent without me saying so is clearly a good sign!

Come back Cryo, we miss you!

And by we I mean I, as I cannot speak for the rest of the voters. The static fire in the dungeon still looks a bit awkward to me but the humour is still good as ever. Now Cryo needs to make a return to the internets before the script runs out is all. Looking forward to the next one... see you in a year? =P

I thought about animating the flames, but it didn't seem worth it as I'd actually have to play to that point in ZSNES to get them and then make an animated background (especially since there was only one episode in the dungeons left after this point). This dungeon is an odd thing as it's one of the few places in the game you can't go back to later on. However, You may have noticed I animated the fountain at the fair. In the future I will try to animate backgrounds when appropriate (just not this dungeon).

And honestly? I hope I can be less of a procrastinating whore this time around and get 14 and 15 out during THIS year.

Once again great

Started off a bit slow, but then again after the last part anything would be slow I suppose. Action is as good as ever, the bit in the car reminded me of the hoverbike sections in Battletoads. At a guess I'd say these two guys in what look like Organisation cloaks are the ones behind sending Shadow X and Magma Dragoon too.

Oh, I noticed one small error (or was it intentional?). When Ikumi is revealing everything to Lou and Serika Phantom's "..." speech box is still there.

KNanakase responds:

OMG SPOILERZZZ!!

Just kidding, man. It was intentional with Phantom's text box. It was there to show that he listening to Ikumi and Lou's little argument intently and that he was rather annoyed by it.

Yeah, pretty much

I get tired of seeing "outtakes" with Mario falling over and farting and stuff getting awards and whatever too (even though I contribute to it by making Mario flash myself). I don't see why people are getting offended, but then again I don't submit stuff expecting or wanting awards or top 50 or anything.

I say Final Fantasy flashes are worse. They usually consist of some half-assed "Kefka returns from the dead to wreak havoc" storyline with bad animation even for a sprite flash. Or traced artwork with characters from VII, VIII and X with a bunch of weak attempts at jokes. Or even worse, a damn video with supposedly "funny" captions. At least some Mario flash get low scores or even blammed. If it's Final Fantasy they always pass with a score close to or above a 3. Make one bashing FF flashes next.

ZekeySpaceyLizard responds:

dont forget naruto!!1

Surprisingly... good

I was honestly expecting some half-assed, badly animated mess that looked like the characters were gonna fight turn-based and slow-moving. This was actually quite well-animated. Stuff to help you out:

- Ctrl + T opens up a window in Flash to allow you to resize the sprites (similar to Ctrl + W in Paint)

- Compress your audio. There's a tutorial on how to do that on the submission page.

One last thing. If you make a FF series, don't bring Kefka back from the dead. That's just overdone and lame. Anyway, nice work. I usually vote 0 on FF works, but this got a 3 out of me.

ThatMan86 responds:

Thanks a bunch for the advice, I did not realize how much smaller the Flash can be when the audio is compressed.

Epic conclusion

And after a year of anticipation, I finally get to see what happens. I could always see that you were good at fight scenes from the earlier episodes, but they're nothing in comparison to this. Everything, from the backgrounds to the music to the choreography of the fights, was flawless. Now I'm interested as to what Chris will look like in his new form. Guess I'll be waiting another year for that. =P

KNanakase responds:

Hey, hey, don't put me down just yet. I don't think it will take another year to release the next episode since there won't be as much action sequences that will have me wracking my brain trying to come up with something. It will take me a little while to rip Chris' new sprites along with recoloring and resizing them, though.

Short but sweet

I laughed. I can't stand work by either of them. Good character art but could've done with a background of some sort (nothing fancy, just something quick).

PS: Is it just me or does anyone else find it a bit suspicious that LF's work is somehow back in the top 50 after roughly a year?

eddsworld responds:

Its very suspicious!

Been a while since the last...

Sprites are looking a lot better now, and the humour manages to stay the same as always. One thing I'd like to see is some attention to detail on the backgrounds. For example, the fire in the dungeon would've looked better with a movie clip of the animated flame pasted over the top (it's about 4 frames total, I've ripped the flame sprite myself). Also, some of the music needs to be looped better (a sound editing program like Audacity will help with that).

Anyway, looking forward to seeing the two of you continue the series.

Clovis15 responds:

I will consider that in the future.

Very good

Now why couldn't the Foamy hurricane thing have been done like this? Oh well. Anyway, the graphics on the clocks were nicely done (good that you drew them yourself instead of just using the CC premade fla files), the dialogue actually made me laugh in parts and overall it was an entertaining flash.

Good work, may B watch over you.

JonBro responds:

May B watch over me? No, I'm almost scared of B, it's too powerful of a movie.

A thing with stuff.
