Ugh...

I decided, having only seen one Foamy cartoon that a friend linked me to, (and that was 5 months ago I might add) to sit and watch this one. I wish I hadn't. In my opinion it was an awful cartoon. That "jiggle jiggle" thing just got completely annoying after the goth repeated it the first time, so why bother having her repeat it constantly.

Wobbling flab about doesn't equal humour, and I personally don't see what's funny about a disgruntled, hi-speed talking squirrel. They say that many a truth is told in jest. Case in point, Foamy holding signs up saying this is the worst script ever.

Your profile suggests that you listen to feedback. From what I've read, your "anti" group seems to say otherwise. Should you read this, listen to this suggestion: if you don't plan on stopping completely, at least take a break for a while. Work on the scripts, try a few new animation techniques, and maybe this series will be seen by the "anti" group as decent. Perhaps even letting someone else write some scripts might benefit the series. I may not have any flash myself (yet) butthe idea of writing reviews is to give opinions. That is what this review is. An opinion.

I suppose you won't get round to reading this, seeing as it'll be lost under all the "I LOVE FOAMY!" reviews. Oh well, I just wasted 5 minutes typing this, haha.

Hahaha

Good stuff my man. Doesn't matter if it's animated, the narrative and pictures used more than made up for it. I gotta admit though, you guys all look pretty young for people in their mid-20s. =/

Nice work.

Not bad at all

I half expected this to be a flash of that once good but now god-awful sprite comic with Sonic in FF game mechanics. Glad to see it isn't.

Anyway. This was quite enjoyable. That training fight scene was pretty well made, and it was a good idea to have a (sort of) interactive method when fighting against enemies. My only complaint is that some of the music could have been looped a bit better, but never mind. Small complaint. Good job otherwise.

Funny stuff

Some good shorts there. Had me laughing from the first one. The animation was smooth, and the cartoony style works.

Good job.

Ooh, foreshadowing

I'd guess that that could be Wily at the end. But that's just a guess. The Proto Man sprite looked really cool. What base did you use for that?

My only problem was that it was too short. The battle sequences were excellent though.

It's improving...

... it's improving a lot. I've been following this series for a while now. The first three episodes were decent, but nothing massively gripping. I enjoyed the fourth episode a lot more. This one beats that.

Some of the sprites looked a bit stretched in some parts (close-ups mainly, they looked kind of long, something to do with scaling?) and the voices were a bit quiet (a good addition though), but this was very nicely made overall.

Quite good

I predict that there will be a surge of good CT flash coming along, what with the maker of Chrono Mirror (a very well-made sprite fight) doing a series, and also this one.

Made me laugh, I must admit. I think, as was said before, it would be a good idea to increase the frame-rate on this so it doesn't look as choppy. Also, when GI Jogger sattacked Crono, or when Marle there wasn't any sound effect. Might be an idea to have a "Thwack" sound effect when people attack/are attacked (not that I know anything about Flash, mind you. I'm just an idea man).

Pretty enjoyable overall. Oh, can you actually win against that "Hit the Bell" game? I'm guessing no, but I was just wondering.

Cryokenetic responds:

Hey, being alongside the ranks of Chrono Mirror is not a bad thing at all! Thanks for the input; I will definitly implament your ideas in EP 3.

Oh, and it is totally possible to win the "Hit the Bell" game. C'mon, I'm not that cheap ^_-

Excellent work

A very enjoyable movie. I like the cartoony style the characters have in your movies. The music used was good, and some of it added to the humour (Ganondorf playing Saria's Song for example). The only problem I had was with the voices. They sounded... muffled... I dunno.

Otherwise, good work, and I'll keep an eye out for Behind the Legend 2.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

meh..behind the legends 2 will take quite a while, Luci sp retty slow..but that movie will deffirntly better quality then this one..glad you liked the movie ^_^

Heh heh heh...

Quite cool. The Clock Crew in a cop drama... who'd have thought it?

The scene selector robot made me laugh. Nice work.

OK I guess...

The humour was pretty stupid, but it was kinda funny. Raised a smile anyway.

ReporterClock responds:

thanks... I think.

A thing with stuff.
